Monday, October 13th from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm: Professional Service Group of Central NJ will host Alex Freund, a career and interviewing coach, who will give a presentation titled:  Why Bother Networking.  Most people dread networking since they do not understand it, think that they are not good at it and while in transition they do not feel good about themselves. About 60 to 80 percent of people get their jobs through networking. The group then divides into smaller teams for: 1) Resume Assistance, (Please bring 15 copies of your resume if you want it reviewed.) or 2) Support in Overcoming Job Search Obstacles. This includes: A) Small group advice for individuals who have hit the wall and need help to reinvigorate their job search, or B) Large group discussion on various job search related topics. Saturday, October 18h from 9:00 – 10:00 am: The Church of the Saviour will host Alex Freund, a career and interviewing coach, who will give a presentation titled: The Interview…You Are Onstage.  Do you know how interviewers think? Interviews are both wished for and dreaded by individuals in career searches.  This presentation is highly participative by the audience. It identifies the four elements that interviewers focus on and involves demonstration, plus audience member mock interviews.
