Alex Freund to Talk About Interviewing
The good news: you’ve been employed before, so, you’re experienced in the job hunting game. The bad news: the rules for a lot of what you once knew have changed – and some of those rule changes include the actual job interview.
Alex Freund, well-known Career Coach and Counselor, will address some of those new rules in his presentation, “The Interview in the 21st Century,” at the PSGCNJ general meeting on Monday, August 5th.
The topics he will cover include: the Hiring Manager’s thoughts, types of interviews, and social media’s impact on the interview. He will also demonstrate examples of interviewing techniques by conducting role-playing sessions with members and asking them to respond to common interview questions.
Freund’s specialties include interview preparation, and techniques, as part of his role in helping clients with their job searches. Despite the tough economy, a significant percentage of his clients have recently landed excellent jobs; and their success, he feels, is the greatest reward.
If you want to learn Alex Freund’s valuable tips on interviewing, then, join us on Monday, August 5th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, located at 48 West High Street, Somerville. Please refrain from parking in the church parking lot. Metered & unmetered parking is available on West High Street; unmetered parking is available on some side streets near the church.
