Brad Schweon Explains How to Work with a Recruiter
When job seeking, applicants typically scour job boards, network with everyone they know, and work with recruiters. While recruiters are a great resource, their focus is to find talent for their clients. How a candidate approaches and/or works with a recruiter is critical to success.
Next Monday, September 29, at PSGCNJ’s weekly meeting, executive recruiter Brad Schweon of Schweon Associates (www.schweon.com) will discuss how to successfully work with executive recruiters. He will cover aspects of the recruiting process such as insights, networking, and tips, as well as the following:
• Networking…Pay it forward
• Job Coaches
• Career trends
• How does a recruiter work?
• Tips for job seekers
Brad Schweon is president of Schweon Associates, an executive recruiting firm located in northern New Jersey. His firm specializes in the chemical and supply chain areas with specific areas of talent search include technical leads, sales, business development, C level positions, manufacturing, quality, and engineering. The firm’s submission to candidate/client contact percentage is greater than 76 percent. Schweon takes a strong interest in understanding the company culture and the skill sets required for the position prior to initiating the search, uses the Interview Architect process, and limits submissions to those with a strong record of accomplishment.
The feedback from submitted candidates is positive as well, as one satisfied applicant said, “You are the only recruiter who looked at my needs as a candidate.”
The firm engages in interview modeling techniques, which help both the client company and the candidate.
