David Schuchman Tells You How to Promote Yourself using MailChimp
Anyone who has spent more than one week job searching realizes that finding that dream job takes more than filling out an application or putting a resume in the mail. It takes creative marketing. That’s exactly what David Schuchman will be addressing at the next PSGCNJ weekly meeting, Monday, March 3, at the First United Methodist Church of Somerville, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
An Information Technology professional, Schuchman will focus on how to use one of the more innovative job search tools. It’s MailChimp, an email marketing service provider founded in 2001. It now has 3.5 million users who send more that 4 billion emails a month. Schuchman will show the attendees how to harness this valuable resource to find that next great job.
Schuchman brings his passion for software applications development and systems integration to his presentation. During the past 14 years, he has been an IT manager in the transportation, financial services and healthcare industries. In addition, he is a sought after meeting presenter and topical blogger. In his blog, TechTopics4U, he shares his opinions with readers on a variety of technology, management and job search topics.
He is the current Executive Chair of the Public Service Group of Mercer County.
