It’s something few people talk about, whether they’re newly unemployed or have been out of work for a while, the emotional pangs of being without a job. There’s no doubt it can become a rollercoaster ride of emotions. You go from being elated & encouraged, after a great interview, to having your hopes dashed, once you find out you didn’t get the job.

If you are unemployed and want to learn more about the emotional side of joblessness, you may want to attend a free Jewish Family Service (JFS) presentation entitled The Emotional Impact of Job Loss, given by Sudha Narasimhan, a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

The presentation will be held Wednesday, February 5th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at JFS of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties (JFS-SHW), located at 150-A West High Street in Somerville. The United Way of Hunterdon County and Magyar Bank are funding this program.

You have to register to attend this presentation. To register, call Elise Prezant at 908-725-7799 X108 or send an email to eprezant@JewishFamilySvc.org.
