Employers this year are looking to capitalize on the VOW to Hire Heroes Act, which provides a federal tax credit of up to $9,600 for each veteran hired. In addition, colleges and universities will be looking to recruit veterans interested in using their Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits to go to school. Lastly, several government agencies will be on site to inform veterans of the various benefits they are entitled to.
