Stress may be an accepted part of modern life. However if unchecked, it can have serious consequences for one’s health including anxiety, insomnia, problem concentrating, high blood pressure, or other significant health issues. And what can be more stressful than being out of work and needing to find a job?

Speaker Susan Wilk will tackle this issue in her presentation scheduled for the July 7 PSGCNJ meeting. As founder and certified instructor of No Place Like Aum, LLC, she has been teaching meditation and stress management for more than ten years. Wilk is a veteran meditator who is dedicated to sharing with her students the wide-ranging benefits of meditation and its practical application to daily life. She has taught meditation in a variety of corporate, healthcare, and personal settings, and her students come from many walks of life and varying stages of expertise.

PSGCNJ members and guests are invited to attend this program addressing the effects of stress. Those facing the challenges of life in transition and job seeking will learn simple yet effective methods to manage and reduce stress. Please wear comfortable, loose attire and bring a towel or small pillow for back support.
