PSGCNJ Events: 2010 Holiday Brunch – Fun and Festive

By Paula Costlow
Ring those jingle bells loudly for all who helped orchestrate the PSGCNJ Holiday Potluck Brunch and Networking event contributing to a huge success!
The event was well supported by members who brought a delectable assortment of great foods to share with other members. There was also a festive atmosphere that was greatly enhanced by the holiday music supplied by our own PSG D.J., John DeRienzo. Cyndi Lewis and Matt Burns once again provided the group with a hearty welcome and kicked off the event with a great flourish.
What made the gathering even more special were the honored guests we had attend. We had five participants that newly joined the PSGCNJ Monday Morning event with the opportunity to gather and network with fellow members. We also had in attendance representatives from a variety of other New Jersey PSGs, specifically Trenton, New Brunswick and Dover.
An extra treat was to talk to and revisit with some of our favorite alumni…Bruce Keiges and Joe Himelfarb, to mention a few.
Our community-minded members donated all of the excess food dishes to the local food kitchen, SHIP (Samaritan Homeless Interim Program), located in Somerville.
All had a grand time and everyone agreed that the Programs and Networking Committee once again provided a great forum for comfortable and productive networking.
Congratulations are in Order!
Congratulations to Luann Ladley who was recently designated as an Emeritus member of the Somerville PSGCNJ. Luann has been instrumental in the creation and enhancing of the official PSGCNJ webpage. She has worked independently to ensure that the site is user-friendly, technologically current, and adheres to all compliance mandates. She is creative, cooperates with all committees who wish to use the website to communicate their activities, and she is always available to be tapped as a valued resource. Luann is a most deserving recipient of this designation.
