Reinventing Yourself in Today’s Job Market

PSGCNJ Contributor???????????????????????????????????????????????????
After a long successful career, you find yourself out of work. So, you eagerly set about trying to find another job, similar to your last one. But, a down economy and shifting markets have altered the career landscape. One solution? Flexibility.
Professionals who know how to cross-sell their abilities and repackage their value can cast a wider career opportunities net. These days it is called reinventing yourself. And that is something that Career Coach Lisa Chenofsky Singer knows something about.
Lisa, of Chenofsky Singer & Associates, will be giving a presentation to the PSGCNJ membership entitled The Art of Reinvention – Selling Your Talents in Today’s Market on Monday, October 7th  during our general meeting. The guest speaker’s eye-opening presentation on career transition will provide members with job search pointers on:
• what to consider when planning the next step in your career path
• how to identify your strengths/abilities, and
• ways to repackage those skills to broaden your search to new industries or positions.
Lisa is also a certified Five O’clock Club Coach and an Executive Coach with over 20 years of Human Resources (HR) experience. She specializes in recruitment, talent development, and career transition; she also offers a variety of one-on-one career coaching services as well as group coaching packages for teams of six, or more, like-minded individuals.
So, again, come hear guest speaker Lisa Chenofsky Singer on Monday, October 7th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, located at 48 West High Street, Somerville.
