RVCC to Hold Open House August 22nd
By Barbara Perone
If you want to become certified in a particular profession, or learn new skills, or just update the ones you already possess, come to the next workforce development open house to be held at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC).
In addition to taking courses to learn new skills, you can also learn a new trade by taking two new programs now offered at RVCC. You can learn about all the certificate programs and training courses the college offers by attending its next workforce development open house to be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 22nd at RVCC @ Bridgewater, located at 14 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater, next to the Somerset County Library.
If want to take classes, but, at the moment, are experiencing a financial hardship talk to the individuals running the open house to see if you qualify to receive financial assistance, via a grant program.
This open house may also be beneficial to those who are looking to make a career change and want to investigate new options; it may also help those who are either thinking about opening a small business or already own one and want to capitalize on their experiences and build expertise other specific areas.
For more information about the open house or other courses being offered in the fall, call RVCC at 908.218.8871 or visit their website workforce@raritanval.edu.
