TLD Guest Speaker to Talk to PSGCNJ Members October 28th

Guest Speaker Anthony Campo will be giving a presentation entitled How the Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution (TLD) Talent Network can assist you with your Job Search, during the PSGCNJ general meeting on Monday, October 28th.

Anthony’s presentation will focus on the TLD industry sector in New Jersey and he will be discussing:

  • trends & the future of the industry
  • positions in the industry where transferable skills apply
  • training requirements
  • hiring needs
  • job openings
  • companies that are hiring

Anthony Campo is the Director of Research in TLD for the John J. Heldrich Research Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University. He is also the Director of the TLD Talent Network for the Department of Labor (DOL) & Workforce Development and is a former senior level executive in the Transportation, Distribution, and Manufacturing industries.

In addition, Anthony does private consulting in:

  •  project management
  • process improvement
  • lean manufacturing
  • leadership skills
  • change management, and
  • supervisory skills, etc.

Throughout his 25-year career in the TLD industry, Anthony owned several small businesses and held executive positions, including President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), for corporations with annual sales exceeding $500 million.

Campo has experience with both privately owned and fortune 500 organizations in domestic and international environments. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and teaches at several other universities throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

So, bring a friend and come join us Monday, October 28th, at our general meeting to be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, located at 48 West High Street, Somerville. All meetings are free and open to the public.

Please refrain from parking in the church parking lot. Metered & unmetered parking is available on West High Street. Unmetered parking is available on some of the side streets near the church. Remember to put enough coins in the meter. A parking ticket in Somerville Borough costs $24!
