Has your job search become stagnant?
Are you tired of the usual routine of “throwing your résumé over the wall” into the black hole that exists in today’s online job boards? Are you tired of contacting your LinkedIn connections to see if they can possibly help get your résumé in front of the appropriate Human Resources Recruiter Manager or Hiring Manager?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, come to the PSGCNJ general meeting on August 12th, to hear Vicki Gaddy present her advice on how to ignite your job search. PSGCNJ general meetings are always free and open to the public. Can’t make it this time? Check our website for upcoming events at www.psgcnj.org.
Vicki Gaddy is Vice President of the Life Sciences Talent Network at BioNJ, the state’s biotechnology trade association. With more than 20 years of experience working as a Human Resources professional, she is presently responsible for coordinating and strengthening BioNJ’s extensive workforce development program.
To hear Vicki’s tips and tricks on how to “shake up” your job search, join us, Monday, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, located at 48 West High Street, Somerville. If you want, bring a friend with you!
Please refrain from parking in the church parking lot. Metered parking is available on West High Street. (Be sure to put enough money in the meter, a single parking ticket can cost you $24!) Unmetered parking is also available on West High Street and on some of the side streets near the church.
In addition to her HR experience, Vicki has a wealth of experience in job search techniques, networking, and career counseling. She coaches individuals and provides classroom courses. She served as Senior Director of HR at Virgin Mobile, worked in senior-level positions at Mannkind Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company, Nitorum Corporation, International Pharmaceutical Research, Inc., and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., of Tarrytown, New York.
