TIPS: Free Programming/Web Development Classes Available

If you want to learn how to program a computer and develop a website you can sign up for a free, five-part course starting February 23 at Hunterdon County Library.
The two-hour classes for Intro to Programming & Web Development begin at 1p.m. on the following Saturdays: February 23, March 2, April 6and April 20. These four classes will be held at the Hunterdon County Library, located at 314 Route 12 in Flemington. The April 13th class will be held at the North County Branch Library, located at 65 Halstead Street in Clinton Borough.
During the program, pupils will learn how to: identify a computer’s components, debug a computer, build & design web pages, use the website www.codecademy.com to write code in the Java Script programming language, use Personal Home Page (PHP), a server-side scripting language and much more. Students will also be given free time, during class, to work at their own pace.
